Zhumadian Vocational and Technical College

Zhumadian Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public vocational and technical college approved by henan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is the construction unit of "double High" in Henan Province, the civilized campus of Henan Province, the Pingan Campus of Zhumadian City, the civilized unit of Zhumadian City, the May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee of Henan Province, the honesty school-running unit of Zhumadian City, the advanced unit of conscription work of Zhumadian city, and the advanced unit of social science in Zhumadian City. At present, the university covers an area of more than 950 mu, with a building area of 268,000 square meters. The university has 59 on-campus practice bases (including laboratories) and 115 off-campus practice bases. The central government has specially supported the construction of 2 key laboratories. The total value of teaching and research facilities has reached 77.4 million yuan. It has 514 faculty members, including 118 professors and associate professors. It has a large number of provincial excellent teachers, provincial academic and technical leaders, experts enjoying special subsidies from the municipal government, municipal academic and technical leaders and municipal top-notch talents. The university now has 8 second-level teaching departments (departments) and 3 industrial colleges, offering 46 majors and 75 professional directions, including 2 national key majors, 2 Provincial characteristic majors, 1 Provincial high-level specialty group, and 19 pilot majors with 1+X certificate. The modern apprenticeship program has been piloted in five majors, forming five major groups in finance and commerce, education, electronic information, civil engineering and architecture, and intelligent manufacturing. The university enrolls students from Henan province, Hebei and Shandong provinces. Currently, there are 18,000 full-time students and 7,000 continuing education students in the university. In 2021, the employment rate of graduates will reach 94.4%.
